Witness: Women's History Month

The BBC World Service presents remarkable stories of women's history, told by the women who were there. Selected from its Witness program, audiences will hear moving, inspiring and even outrageous stories about a few of the most important women in living memory. They'll hear recollections from Eleanor Roosevelt's granddaughter, meet a woman who ran a secret school for girls in Afghanistan under the Taliban, and retrace the astounding journey taken by the remains of one of Latin America's most popular female politicians.
