  1. Red-winged parrots in Western Australia are reportedly “flying under the influence” and acting bizarrely after feasting on fermented mangoes. The alcohol is causing the parrots to act in unsafe ways;

In Illinois, a missing cat named Noodles, who enjoys sitting on horses and donkeys, disappeared, and was later discovered in the area when a horse lover posted a photo of Noodles on a horse and asked if anyone knew the cat. The owner decided to leave Noodles at his “good gig,” but she will visit him;


  1. Russ, a dog that disappeared during the Caldor Fire in California in late 2021 was reunited with his family months later after being rescued in a severe snowstorm;


  1. Lola, a 3-year-old cocker spaniel from Leeds, UK, who has a head full of blonde hair that often causes people to ask if she is wearing a wig;


  1. The unnamed tarantula, contained in a plastic tub, that was discovered on the London Underground on a train that arrived at the London Bridge station.
