The Insignia HD2 Radio Used as a Tuner

During the recent WCLV Pledge Week, a couple hundred WCLV listeners donated to receive the Insignia
HD2 radio, which enables them to listen to WCLV anywhere in the Cleveland area, especially in Lake
and Geauga Counties. One of the features of the Insignia table model radio is that it has an output jack
that enables it to be used as a tuner to feed a stereo tuner, a Bose Radio or another amplifier to take
advantage of the improved sound of HD. You need a stereo 3.5 mm audio cable, male to male,
which connects to a stereo adapter and a "Y" RCA phono female to female dual RCA phono plugs,
which in turn connect to a stereo audio cable with RCA dual male plugs. These attach to the back of
whatever unit you are playing into. All of these modestly priced cables are available at Radio Shack.
Just tell them what you want to do: connect the radio to a stereo input.
