Jennifer Heemstra, a CIM alum who created a classical music concert series in Kolkata, India, just received the Secretary of State award Outstanding Volunteerism Abroad from Secretary John Kerry. It also just so happens she's in town, and performing on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Nighttown, to benefit her organization, Kolkata Classics.
