The Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory fall musical, "Spring Awakening," has become a virtual presentation due to the coronavirus pandemic. In conservations with WCLV's Jacqueline Gerber, director Victoria Bussert describes how the decision was made to switch from a stage musical to a virtual production. Also, music director Matthew Webb explains how he prepared music tracks to which the actors would sing. Finally, producer Bryan Bowser details how many issues, including performance rights, were changed by the switch to a virtual performance. As the facts of the pandemic and its requirements changed, so did the dimensions of the production.
