We don't often talk about mobile apps on The Sound of Ideas, but one released this month from LAND Studio caught our attention. It's called "The City is Our Museum" and connects users to public spaces and public artwork, in the city of Cleveland. There's self-guided tours of neighborhoods, including Buckeye, Downtown, Edgewater, Gordon Square, Hingetown and Midtown. Missed the Cleveland Walls! Mural Festival from last summer? You can find where those murals are by using the app. Best of all – it's free.

We're going to start today's show by learning more about "The City is our Museum" app, and how we can all get to know the hidden gems in our own backyard a little better. We’ll talk to folks from LAND Studio as well as an artist whose mural about his experience as a Black man is featured in Midtown.

Later in the hour, we'll feature the story of a longtime broadcast engineer and technical director at WCSU at Central State University, who hails from East Cleveland. Stephon Lane helped put on the Ohio Debate Commission debates last month, and he has an interesting story.

- Joe Lanzilotta, Project Manager, LAND studio
- Antwoine Washington, Artist
- Charles Fox, WCSU General Manager
- Stephon Lane, WCSU Broadcast Technician and Technical Director for the Paul Robeson Cultural and Performing Arts Center at Central State University
