Researchers say our neighborhood parks could be a vital key in helping people get enough physical activity to mitigate chronic health conditions. The RAND Corporation recently set about to chronicle the unmet potential of our neighborhood parks. It studied parks in 25 cities nationwide, including Cleveland. Support for the study came from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. Other collaborators included the City Parks Alliance and the Trust for Public Land. The study looked at how parks are used and who was using them. Plus, we'll discuss the afternath of the Las Vegas shooting and including the toll the images can take on your mental well being.
