The pundits, most of them anyway, missed the Donald Trump wave. He wouldn't emerge from the GOP primaries, they said. He stood no chance against Democrat Hillary Clinton in November, they said. Now he's President Trump and he's has begun his term with a frenetic pace that makes the establishment's head spin and, very likely, pleases the voters who picked him to shake things up. The political climate that propelled Trump to the presidency is one of deep distrust and disatisfaction with institutions such as government, the judiciary and the media.
