Governor Kasich has proposed a series of higher education reforms for lawmakers to consider. Two of the proposals would allow students to earn a full bachelor's degree at a community college or spend three years at a community college and one at a public university for a degree. Both proposals could save students thousands in tuition.
Another proposal would be to expand the College Credit Plus program. That program lets high school students take college courses for free while in high school and allows them to enter college with those credits already earned---saving money
