Scientists say there are about 185 invasive species living in the Great Lakes, and a new one arrives every eight months. The US Congress now has a plan to fight them. There are a couple of hurdles, though--the Senate and a threatened presidential veto. On the Sound of Ideas, we'll talk about the feasibility of fighting invasive species by changing basic shipping practices.
