As you may have noticed, Wry is one special duck. His owners named him after his condition - wry neck which makes it difficult for him to hold his head up. To help him out they fashioned a chicken wheelchair for him to use for physical therapy.
With his white feathers, orange feet, and bill, Wry appears to be a Pekin duck. This species is found mainly in captivity and in wetlands , according to the Columbian Park Zoo Lafayette Parks & Recreation. In the wild, they eat plants insects, and fruits. If you happen to see these ducks, be sure not to feed them. While it may be fun to toss bread and crackers to ducks at the park, it is not healthy for them. The bread can swell up in their bellies and make them feel full without getting much nutrition.
