Petting Zoo: Tots Spot Stolen Lemur

Thank goodness Maki is safe! Not only are ring-tailed lemurs like Maki endangered; their natural habitats are certainly not preschools.

Ring-tailed lemurs like Maki typically live in arid, open areas and forests. They can be found in southwestern Madagascar.

The mammals typically live up to 18 years in the wild. Despite Maki's youthful and vibrant appearance, he is 21-years-old. He is a senior citizen in lemur years.

It is amazing that he was able to survive outside of the zoo!
