ABOUT 30-PERCENT OF CALIFORNIA'S WATER COMES FROM THAT MELTED SIERRA SNOW, SO ALL THAT WINTER WEATHER IS GREAT NEWS FOR CALIFORNIA’S DRINKING WATER. BECAUSE IT’S SO IMPORTANT, CALIFORNIA’S DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES WAS OUT MEASURING THE SNOWPACK LAST WEEK.
ONE OF THE THINGS THEIR SURVEY DETERMINES IS THE WATER CONTENT OF THE SNOW.
