People around the world are celebrating the Lunar New Year.
Also known as the spring festival, it's the longest and most celebrated date on the Chinese calendar. The celebrations last for fifteen days and each 'new year' is associated with one of the twelve animals on the Chinese zodiac cycle.
This week's celebrations mark the beginning of the year of the monkey. Matt Rivers has more.
