Some culinary students in Pittsburgh are crazy for crickets! The students at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh showed off a four-course meal, with crickets as the common ingredient.
Among the dishes served -- cricket pesto, cricket crusted beef with horseradish and toasted crickets. The school's culinary director says more than two billion people in the world eat insects -- and crickets are rich in protein.
The crickets were provided by an Ohio cricket farm and shipped there frozen.
