China Ends 'One-Child' Policy

Also in China, the state-run media there reports the country is getting rid of its notorious one-child policy. The country of more than one billion people instituted the 'one couple, one child' policy in the 1970's, to control population growth.

Now, facing an aging population, the government will allow couples to have two children.
