Lights Go Out for Earth Hour

All over the world, landmarks go dark on purpose.

The Space Needle in Seattle, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and even Terminal Tower in Cleveland recognized a significant moment for global climate change over the weekend. The needle joined global landmarks in flipping the switch for earth hour. The campaign raises awareness for environmental issues.

Earth hour was launched in 2007 by the World Wildlife Fund. This year's theme promotes sustainable, renewable and alternative energy.
