President Obama Stops in Cleveland, Answers Audience Questions

A presidential visit brings national attention to the buckeye state. President Obama addressed a City Club of Cleveland audience on March 17th, joining a long list of sitting presidents to visit the historic institution, including Presidents Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

Last week, we asked you what you would ask the president if given the chance...and so many of you wrote in with some great questions, we thought we'd share some of your responses:

Leah and Paris from Dodge Intermediate asked: "How do your kids learn, and was it hard to move to be the president?"

Abby from Rushwood Elementary wants to know: "What inspired you (President Obama) to become president of the United States? I would ask that question because I like to hear back stories."

Kirianna Dorgan from Adena Elementary would ask: "Why did you want to be president and what do you like most about being the president? I would like to be president one day, because at school we have sixth grade Student Council which seems like being president, but for our school. And I've always wanted to be a part of Student Council.

And Gaven Carter from North College Hill Middle School wants to know: "Why would President Obama want to be president, because of all the responsibility to take on and everyone is counting on you to keep the United States of America safe."
