The student council of the University of California Irvine recently voted to ban all flags from the lobby of its office area and many people were upset by the decision.
Now, state legislators are considering a constitutional amendment that would protect the American flag from being banned on the state's college campuses.
Later in the week after the first vote, the student executive council at UC Irvine overturned the flag ban, and the school issued a statement saying the American flag is still flying around campus...and will continue to.
