We've mostly all seen furniture that can do several things, but you've probably never seen a coffee table that doubles as a charger for your smartphone! Furniture giant Ikea is about to start selling a new line that will wirelessly charge your phone or tablet.
"X" marks the spot...just put your device on the connector, and the table does the work. It employs a charging standard used by most newer android and windows phones called qi.
Ikea says it'll offer a special charging cover for iphones and older android phones so the wireless charging works for those too.
