The Pens That Sign Presidential Vetoes

During his first term, Governor Kasich exercised his constitutional right to refuse to accept certain legislation. And on Tuesday, President Obama exercised his veto power.

A veto is the constitutional right to reject a decision made by a law-making body. Once the president returns the legislation with his rational for rejecting the measure, it can then be overridden with a vote by two thirds of both the Senate and the House.

The president rejected legislation that would have given final approval to an oil pipeline that would transport oil from Canada, to the Gulf of Mexico.

This is not the first or the last presidential veto...but what about the pens used by the president to sign important laws or veto a measure?

They also become a part of American history.
