WRITING PROMPT: The CDC says the U.S. has seen more measles cases this year than in any full year since 2000. It can be prevented with a vaccine that is 97 percent effective, according to medical professionals. Many state lawmakers are looking to make it easier for people to get vaccinated by offering free measles vaccines. Do you think people should be vaccinated for the measles? Why or why not?
