U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has a busy travel schedule this week.
First up was a trip to the Pakistani capital of Islamabad. Pakistan borders both Iran and India, and that was one of the topics of conversation this week for the Secretary of State. Kerry encouraged a peaceful resolution concerning violence and recent tensions along the India - Pakistani border. He also met with Pakistan's prime minister and praised the country's continuing military efforts against terrorism.
Trips like this involve diplomacy. Diplomacy is the art and skill of managing international relations.
Kerry went to Geneva Wednesday and plans to be in Paris on Thursday to reaffirm support from the United States with France.
