Derby the Dog Learns to Run Thanks to 3D Printed Legs

One of the items sent to the International Space Station a few months ago was a 3D printer. Astronauts aboard the ISS have printed around 20 objects, including a wrench, that will help them with projects and future missions.

And just like it's making an impact in space, here on earth 3D printers have a special use too.

Jeanne Moos introduces us to Derby, a dog who is getting a second chance at life thanks to a custom set of 3D printed prosthetics.
