Sony Pictures Hacked, Confidential Data Released

We spoke earlier about electronic information. There is also a cyber attack of confidential data going on, including stealing social security numbers, personal emails and five movies - four of which are unreleased.

It has one company scrambling to figure out exactly what happened, and it could get worse for Sony Pictures.

According to a message posted online, the group behind the recent hacking of the media company is preparing to release more sensitive data. The hackers call themselves the "Guardians of Peace', and have already exposed a trove of sensitive data, including embarrassing e-mails between Sony executives.

Attorneys representing Sony have intervened this week, sending a letter to news organizations. The letter requests media outlets stop publishing leaked information, or it threatens legal action will be pursued.
