There's a battle shaping up between a group of countries that all want to lay claim to the land where Santa Claus lives. Among them are Denmark and Greenland, together claiming ownership to about 350,000 square miles of arctic territory, which includes the North Pole.
Denmark just filed documentation with the united nations saying scientists proved that Greenland's continental shelf is connected to part of their land, but beneath the ocean. Denmark previously tried to gain control of the area and many believe that nations want it because there might be reserves of oil beneath the surface.
Russia and Canada each think the area should belong to them.
