Baby Seals Released Back into the Wild

Four seal pups were recently released back into the ocean off the coast of Rhode Island. The two males and two females were found abandoned in may while they were still of nursing age.

Officials at Connecticut’s Mystic Aquarium say the pups were fed a special formula until they were large enough to transition to fish -- and were taught to hunt.

Now that they're healthy, zoo officials thought it was time for them to strike out on their own.
