Scientists Hope to Better Understand the Solar System with Space Probe Rosetta

We've seen pictures taken on the moon, but what about from a comet? A comet is a small solar system orbiting the sun consisting of dust, ice and rock particles. Sometimes the comet appears to have a tail like feature, which happens when the sun causes the dust and ice to melt. Scientists from the European Space Agency hope to land a space probe - or camera- that they've named Rosetta on the surface of a comet they've been following for ten years to collect samples and help scientists better understand the solar system.
