Why Victims of Sexual Violence Don't Always Report

Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh is facing multiple allegations of sexual misconduct that date back to his high school and college years. The age of the claims has been cited by some as suspicious, questioning why the women waited so long to come forward. This isn't uncommon, says Sondra Miller, president and CEO of the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center. She joined ideastream's Rick Jackson to explain what keeps survivors from speaking about their experiences, as well as the resources available to help those in need.
