Heart health experts have tightened the guidelines for defining high blood pressure.
The change will dramatically increase the number of adults in the US considered to have hypertension.
The American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology released the guidelines yesterday.
It's the first change in 14 years.
The hope is these new guidelines will get doctors and their patients to address the deadly condition sooner.
