As a new report from the Brookings Institution highlights Case Western Reserve University's ability to commercialize research. The study looked at higher ed institutions which are located in the downtowns and midtowns of large cities, as compared to their counterparts in suburban and rural areas. Case Western ranks 13th overall. The rankings take licensing deals, disclosures, licensing income, patents, and startups into consideration.
