This hour on The Sound of Ideas, we'll hear a conversation host Rick Jackson had with Sarah Jane Tribble, Kaiser Health News Senior Correspondent and former health reporter at ideastream. We'll talk about her new podcast, "Where It Hurts," following what happens when a rural hospital leaves a community.

Then, we'll highlight another honoree from this year's Crain's 40 Under Forty class, Assistant US Attorney Margaret Sweeney.

Later this hour, we'll hear about a 1-in-800 year celestial event known as the Christmas Star that happens tonight.

And finally, we'll bring you our latest Applause Performances Holiday Edition, featuring three brass musicians from The Cleveland Orchestra.
