The Impact Of Default On Cleveland 40 Years Later; 2019 Rock Hall Class Announced

Forty years ago, Cleveland made history becoming the first city since the Great Depression to default on its financial responsibilities.  The move capped a fierce political struggle pitting first time Mayor Dennis Kucinich against members of the city council and the business community.  The default would hang over Cleveland's national image but some say hitting rock bottom helped spur the city's comeback.
