Preserving Cleveland's Huletts; Making Art Work; Statehouse Update
Touted as a mechanical engineering marvel, Hulett ore-unloaders helped make Cleveland a shipping hub in the 20th Century. But advances in technology made the gigantic Huletts obsolete by the early 1990s. The Cleveland Landmarks Commission greenlighted a proposal last week that would put part of a Hulett near the lakefront in a planned new development area. Then, how do artists make ends meet while also pursuing their creative passions? Plus the latest from the statehouse.
