Our Regional Climate Future

Right about now, a shorter winter and average temperatures about twelve degrees warmer - those are starting to sound pretty good. The problem is what they come with. A UN panel says in 100 years, climate change will leave the Great Lakes feeling a bit more like the Southwest - that means more droughts and heat waves and torrential storms that flood low lying areas. On The Sound of Ideas Monday morning, we'll talk about the regional climate our children and grandchildren will inherit.
