Ohio Early Childhood Race And Rural Equity Report; "Leonard Soloway's Broadway"

Children who fall behind in learning early have a hard time catching up and the gap widens. The Ohio Early Childhood Race and Rural Equity report found that poverty is tied to early educational development and that minority children and those in Ohio's 32-county Applachian region are more likely to be behind when Kindergarten starts. We'll discuss the report and preview next week's community forum examining solutions.  Later, Ideastream's Dan Polletta talks with legendary theater producer, Leonard Soloway.  The Shaker Heights spent his free time at the Cleveland Play House, which led to the bright lights of Broadway.
