It was Congressman Louis Stokes’ dream to write his life’s journey from Cleveland to Capitol Hill. He accomplished that goal, but passed away a few days later in 2015. This month, his autobiography, The Gentleman From Ohio, is hitting the shelves. We’ll discuss his legacy with those who knew him best, including daughter Shelley Stokes-Hammond. Then, how some are embracing the frugal life. That’s on The Sound of Ideas.
