Life After Losing the Hub

Local business leaders and elected officials tried hard to keep a hub at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport after United Airlines merged with Continental in 2010. But United announced this week the hub is departing anyway. What exactly does that mean for Northeast Ohio? Jobs cuts are certain. Fewer flights are likely. But can the region still thrive with a smaller airport?
