Keeping Us Safe
We are not paralyzed by fear in this country. But terror attacks at home and abroad, highly publicized mass shootings and gun violence, and political campaigns aimed at highlighting these issues, certainly put the question of safety in our minds. What public policy actions, if any, can help to make us safer?
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown joins us to talk about a bill he co-sponsored with other Senate Democrats aimed at combating Islamic State terrorism here and abroard. He will also discuss recent gun control executive actions announced by President Obama.
We'll also talk ISIS and gun control with Republican U.S. Representative Bob Latta of Bowling Green.
Psychiatrist Jeff Janata discusses the current American psyche.
