On The Sound of Ideas, we continue this week talking about President Donald Trump and other republican leaders' recent positive cases of COVID-19 -- shortly after their visit to Cleveland for last week's presidential debate.

After returning to the White House following a 3 day stay at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the President released a video that some criticized as downplaying the virus. Just yesterday, Facebook removed a false claim that the President made that the coronavirus was less deadly than the seasonal flu.

In Tuesday's weekly coronavirus briefing, Governor DeWine addressed about the President's positive COVID case, and was asked about the president's messaging by reporters. We were joined by Ohio Public Radio Statehouse News Reporter Karen Kasler to discuss the Governor's response.

Then, we'll learn how the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival has adapted to the pandemic, and we'll talk about one the filmmakers who profiled her mother and local philanthropist, Aggie Gund.

And, we'll learn about a new partnership with ideastream and One Small Step that aims to heal the political divide. It's called One Small Step. We'll feature a conversation between two participants who disagree politically, but were able to find some common ground.
