Cuyahoga County Health Commissioner Gives Pandemic Update; Voting Tweaks Recommended

Cuyahoga County Health Commissioner Terry Allen joins us today on the Sound of Ideas for a local status update on the coronavirus pandemic. We'll discuss physical distancing, recommendations to wear masks, the mechanics of contact tracing and concerns about a second wave now that everything is opening back up.  Later, we talked last week with the Ohio  secretary of state about his ideas for election reforms ahead of the November general election. Today, the League of Women Voters weighs in.  And we'll talk about how gene research, the subject of a recent Ken Burns documentary, is especially relevant in the coronavirus era.
