Cleveland Connects; Cleveland's Greatest Generation; State of the State Preview

Children represent the hopes, dreams and aspirations not only of their parents but also for many,  the community at large.  The future course of a child's life and where that trajectory may lead begins long before they set foot in school.

As part of our on-going, year-long partnership with The Cleveland Plain Dealer and cleveland-dot-com and sponsored by PNC, we are focusing on the First 2000 Days of life and how choices made in this time can impact a child's entire life.  Choices about Pre-school were the focus of a Clevleand Connects forum hosted by Ideastream.

World War Two presented a challenge unparalleled in American history. The call to service answered not only on the battlefront but the homefront as well.  Clevelanders leveraged their will and the city's manufacturing might to help stoke the American military effort that led to an Allied victory.

Plus, Gov. Kasich prepares for his State of the State speech even as his presidential hopes appear to be fading.
