On the day before Mother's Day, birthmothers who placed their babies for adoption will gather for their own ceremony. Each has a unique and emotional story, as do their children and their adoptive families. Some gave birth in an era that shamed single moms. Some weren't given the choice to raise their child. We'll talk hear from several birth mothers.
