Anisfield-Wolf Book Award Recipients: Lillian Faderman and Orlando Patterson

A group of gifted authors will be celebrated in Cleveland on September 15 as winners of this year’s Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards.  The awards, administered by The Cleveland Foundation, honor those authors whose works contribute to our understanding of race and cultural diversity.   We’ll discuss with Lillian Faderman her work, "The Gay Revolution: The Story of the Struggle." Then, we will talk to renowned sociologist Orlando Patterson who will be honored with a lifetime achievement award.
