The presidential campaign which just concluded will be remembered for many things including a new internet phenomenon that made headlines - fake news.   Made-up stories featured on phony websites often  about political issues found their way onto well-trafficked internet platforms including facebook and Googe, leading many to wonder if these fake stories influenced voters.  

Case Western Reserve University's Jared Bendis explains what was driving the creation of this mis-information.
