Live Wire Radio

Live Wire is a one-hour weekly radio variety show recorded in front of a live audience. It’s music, it’s conversation, it’s sketch comedy. It’s the show that dared to put tap dancing, juggling and ballet on the radio. Live Wire highlights the best musicians and most fascinating writers, poets, dignitaries, artists we can find in the even more beautiful pacific northwest.

MOSHE KASHER - Author of Kasher in the Rye: The True Tale of a White Boy from Oakland Who Became a Drug Addict, Criminal, Mental Patient, and Then Turned 16. This autobiography gives you a look into his dark childhood. He has channeled his dysfunctional childhood into his comedy routines and has appeard on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon & Chelsea Lately.

JANE JONES - She is the co-artistic director for one of Seattle's most thriving theatres. She and fellow founders and artistic directors believe literature makes the best theatre. In this unique setting, thier goal is to encourage people to love reading through seeing a live performance that comes straight from the written words of a book.

SHOOK TWINS - These sisters come from the mountains of Idaho. They have a deep connection to their roots and it shines throughout their music. Their sound is folk intertwined with angelic melodies and the musical instruments of the stand-up bass, violin, banjo, and guitar. They have been touring the West Coast since 2008 and continue to become more well known and loved at festivals and different music venues.
