Live Wire is a one-hour weekly radio variety show recorded in front of a live audience. It’s music, it’s conversation, it’s sketch comedy. It’s the show that dared to put tap dancing, juggling and ballet on the radio. Live Wire highlights the best musicians and most fascinating writers, poets, dignitaries, artists we can find in the even more beautiful pacific northwest.

AJ JACOBS - The bestselling author has penned, My Life as an Experiment, The Know-It-All, The Year of Living Biblically, and the most recent, Drop Dead Healthy. In his latest book he takes on all sorts of diets, excercise plans, the advice of his family, and trys to turn his body around. He comes up with an intriguing and hilarious book about what people think will help them have a healthly lifestyle.

DAVID WOLMAN - The author has just published his third book, The End of Money. He has also written for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Time, Newsweek, Forbes, and is a contributing editor at Wired.

LOST LANDER - This relatively new group was started by frontman and songwriter, Matt Sheehy. They released their first album, DRRT in Jauary 2012. It echoes with sounds of Peter Gabriel and there are messages behind each one of the beautifully constructed songs. This is a band that will make it's name known.
