Cabinet of Wonders

Cabinet of Wonders is a variety show recorded live in New York. It features an exciting mix of musicians, authors, comedians, and other artists. Imagine you're in the audience of a talent show put on by your very talented, critically acclaimed friends. They sing, read from their novels, tell jokes, make you laugh, make you think, and keep you entertained.

This episode of Cabinet of Wonders features the soaring voice of a rising star, Nicole Atkins... a reading of hilarious tweets by Eugene Mirman and host John Wesley Harding... a solo song by Sean Nelson, formerly of the band Harvey Danger... and one by punk favorite Ted Leo. There's also a sci-fi short story by Audrey Niffenegger (The Time Traveler's Wife) about the passing of independent book stores. The house band for this show only is the King Charles Trio, with all-star musicians including Peter Buck of REM, members of The Decemberists and Scott McCaughey of The Minus 5.
