Your Answers: What did you do over the summer?

NewsHound spent all his summer training with NewsCat. For our write-in question, he wants to know “What did you do over the summer?”

---

This summer I did a lot of things. I went on vacation to the Smoky Mountains National Park. Most of the trip was hiking to beautiful waterfalls. Then I went to Cedar Point. My favorite ride was Steel Vengeance. I did a nature camp in Rocky River Reservation in the Metroparks. I went to Boston, Massachusetts. There was so much history. I love history! I had an awesome summer but I am glad that school is back!

Dear NewsDepth,

I had an amazing summer. I went to the pool, Disneyland and to the beach. I ate my favorite food, Lo Mein. I can't wait to have another summer.

What I did is I went to Seattle to see my cousin. Then I went to New York Times Square. Me and my family traveled NJ and NY back and forth. After we came back I got camp for a week. Anda ton of birthday parties. My birthday was in September and I am 11.

What did I do in the summer? I went on 5 vacations and played baseball. I went to Indianapolis for baseball. I went to San Francisco and Disneyland to see and be with my dad's side of the family, I went to Florida to see my mom's side of the family and then Kansas to see my dad's brother. That is what I did this  summer.

I mostly went to the pool and visited my grandparents. One very interesting thing I did is I went canoeing, and I found 22 sea shells and a live mussel! I also got to swim in a lake and get swept away by a current.
