Your Answers: What kind of vending machine would you put in your school?

Last week we learned about a vending machine stocked with COVID-19 tests. Then we; asked you to tell us:  what would you put in a vending machine at your school? How would it help students at your school!

"I would put in cloth masks that come in all different colors; so then the kids that cannot afford them can have it. I would do that to help my school, that way everybody, can have a mask and be safe."

- Enza from Emerson Elementary School in Westerville

"I would put water and juice in the dispenser because it is refreshing and healthy. I would also make it affordable since some kids don't get to drink healthy and good quality drinks, and that's why I would put water and juice in vending machines in my school."

- Lucy from Lakeview Intermediate School in Stow

"I would put hot cocoa in the vending machines. It's cold outside, so it would be perfect to have a nice warm drink after we come in from outside. Even if you get it when you get to school, it will still be an amazing chocolate drink."

- Kaity Nathaniel from Manchester Middle School in New Franklin

"I would put some healthy snacks in the vending machine; because if you have finished with your food, you should be able to have some other snacks to eat if you are still hungry. Also, they are good for you."

- Aria from Valley View Elementary School in Wadsworth

"I would put school supplies such as crayons, pencils, and glue in the vending machine because my friends and classmates don't always have the items they need for class. It would be helpful if there were a vending machine that provided these materials."

- Brianna from Bath Elementary School in Akron

"I would put small bottles of hand sanitizer in the vending machine because I think everyone should have their hand cleaner so that you're not touching the same hand sanitizer in the classrooms."

- Danny Lute from St. Francis De Sales School in Akron
